Steve Dame

Lead Pastor

Steve started Rock Hills Church along with a team of 39 people during the summer of 2013. He served as a staff pastor at Vine Church in Carbondale, Illinois, for six years before he felt called to plant a church in Bowling Green. Now, as Rock Hills' lead pastor, he is responsible for teaching, leadership development, and long-term vision and planning. He and his wife Sarah have three children: Samuel, Eleanor, and Adelyn. In their free time, Steve's family enjoys traveling and doing just about anything outside.

Marty Martinez

Staff Pastor

Marty came on staff as Rock Hills' first staff pastor in June 2016. He grew up in the Chicago-land area, but he moved to Bowling Green in 2013 with the original church plant team from Vine Church. As a staff pastor, Marty is in charge of our administrative duties, assisting our lead pastor, and occasionally teaching on Sundays. He also leads a Tuesday night Small Group. Marty enjoys eating good tacos and exploring new bed and breakfasts with his wife, Lauren.

Nate Bisel

Worship Leader

Nate is our main worship leader at Rock Hills Church. Nate is originally from central Kansas and is a proud Kansas City Royals fan, but he moved to Carbondale, IL, in 2010 to be a part of Vine Church. Nate developed a close relationship with Steve at Vine, and when Steve announced that he would be planting a church in Kentucky Nate was the first person who chose to go. As a worship leader, Nate is responsible for leading worship during Sunday worship services as well as leading and training the worship team. Nate enjoys hammocking, cooking, and trying new restaurants with his wife Lindsay.

Nikki Gentry

Kids Coordinator

Nikki is our kids program coordinator. She is also a school nurse at one of the local elementary schools, so she really has a heart for taking care of kids. Her responsibilities include overseeing our kids program on Sundays along with planning the curriculum and coordinating volunteers. She is optimistic, fun loving and loves going on adventures with her husband and two dogs.

Braden Grant

Bookkeeper

Braden is the Rock Hills bookkeeper. He is currently licensed as a CPA and works as an Accounting Professor at Western Kentucky University. Needless to say, he likes numbers and was the perfect guy for the job. He enjoys all things competitive and loves spending time with his wife, Sarah, and his children.
